Title: Introductions and a Question
Post by: Hathomirr on October 29, 2018, 04:28:59 PM
Greetings to anyone who might still be around. I originally stumbled upon this game a couple years back, and decided to revisit it these past couple of weeks. I was considering looking into creating maps as well, though I'm not sure how far I'll get.

Aside from a few posts elsewhere, I'm wondering if this is still being worked on at all, even if at a slow pace. I guess my only real hope is to have an upscaled graphics, since my options are either in a small window or fullscreen with a heavily skewed perspective. On a related note, is there a way to change the window size?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I too am curious about this!

Resolution can't be changed in the Windows version of A&A sadly. That's why I prefer playing the older DOS versions of the game using DosBox (where I can play fullscreen in my native resolution).

Hey again, guys. This place seemed to have gone down for a while, so now that it's back, I'm curious as to who is still around.

Any new updates in the works, or just people playing at all?

And as a late followup to the last post, is there a benefit to playing the DOS version as opposed to the Windows version? Beyond the resolution factor, I mean.

I check the forum occasionally, but almost never post. I actually tweeted at our host on twitter when I noticed the forum was down.

I rather wish we could get the word out better about Amulets and Armor. It's such a fun, well developed hidden gem.

Still around and checking on this occasionally, but haven't played the game in several years.

I try to check in regularly. I've not done any community content in a while, but was really thinking of doing some after finishing a project I'm working on.

There is also a discord group. PM me if anyone wants a link.

EDIT!!!
NVM, I figured out the perma-link: https://discord.gg/4vXVzJp
