Just gave this a playthrough.  I had no trouble playing through all levels as a level 1 mercenary.

Really nice work, especially for the 1st user created quest :D I can't begin to describe how awesome it was to play some new AA content. Adding the wolves was awesome, since you never see 'em usually.

Oh right... while I'm commenting. I noticed that any texture starting with "AAVERT" is not found in game. I'm wondering if they're just named wrong. If I find anything more specific I'll follow up.

AAVERT* was a texture I created for the AA doom mod, I think Lysle might have used the folder with all the AA textures I extracted + my extras...

Oh man this is cool  8)

I think having 'e' as a use key/pick up item is perfect for the WASD control set. The highlighting objects is a great idea too, I personally love it - but maybe make it a setting/option, in case some people find it annoying.

How does this work with the UI though?

I had just realised that custom avatars and smileys were broken. In your forum profile you can either choose from a list of AA character classes or upload your own. :)
