Hi guys and gals, I'm new here, got here from seeing that LP of the game over on LPArchive. Anyway, I wanted to try the game out with a friend of mine, so we followed the instructions found in the comments of the very first episode of the LP, which are as follows:
"So multiplayer is a two-step process for us. Obviously first step is to get the sucker up and running in dosbox. NEXT step is to set up a (free) server on a tunneling client. We use hamachi 'cause it's free. So have one person start the server, and tell their IP address to the other person. That person will enter into dosbox and type in ipxnet connect [IP address]. Once you're both on the same server, don't start "armor.exe", start "setup" and both join a network game. Then you're in!"
My friend and I followed these instructions exactly, and the game started up, saw the company logo, smooth going so far... and then when we got to the menu... this happened.

This is just from my end, but my friend said it happened to him as well. What I want to know is, why? Is there any way to fix this? My friend and I have tried other IPX-compatible DOS games, and others work perfectly, all except for this one.
Any help we could get with this matter will be most appreciated. If there's any other info I need to give to help people help me, I gladly will. Thanks in advance!
