Do multiplayer quests work?

I have started playing Windows Version 1.04 recently with my childhood friend to relive the memories (we had the shareware version back then).

There seems to be a problem though - do multiplayer quests work? Whenever we finish a quest, there are no indicators of getting a reward. Only a textbox with "0" is displayed on the chat screen and nothing else. It seems that he cannot get any store unlocks too when we finish a quest that I started. We finished the first three quests but he only had the first set of potions in the store for example.

The multiplayer rewards are not working correctly (not sure why there is a 0 appearing, probably an old debug statement).  At best, it only gives the person who created the quest the reward for completing it.

AFAIK those QUEST0000# files are multiplayer exclusive. For example, that's where the last quest grabs the incorrect title from. And incidentally the first line of all of these files is "0"

hmm, I looked at the code and other than seeing only issues with single/multiplayer completion, I don't see the '0' issue and what you mean.

Thanks for the screenshot.  I have to admit that that's weird.   I've been so focused on single play lately or jumping in/out of network play that I have not gone through a quest in awhile.  Let me add to the bug list and work on it.
