yeah, that's the v1.0 shareware:

• the main screen is different
• you have to go through the guild to begin the quest
• the acid wizards are blue
• you can leave the level anytime and still keep your items

• the acid wizards are blue
• you can leave the level anytime and still keep your items

Also IIRC drinking any potion automatically quenches thirst in this version, which is logical but removes the need for water.
