This isn't really a walkthrough, its more of a playthrough come to think of it.

So in part 1, how did you know that the "blink" spell will teleport you to the treasure when you stood on the correct balcony?  I was stuck there forever until I saw your walkthrough.

There is a scroll of blink and two spells right next to the bit that you need to blink across. So I assumed you needed to blink across

Ok, I guess if you were playing with a magic-friendly character that would be the logical thing to try.  I was playing with a Knight and hardly ever use spells, so I didn't even think about casting a random one that I just picked up.
